rawtherapee, rawstudio, qtpfsgui

All photography software stopped working after last upgrade of GNOME/KDE stuff, I can't edit my photos sad
I was able to recompile qtpfsgui, but rawtherapee is not open source, and that was primary software (well after Gimp) to work with my photos.
How to back to previous state of Arch Linux?

Nothing informative, I believe rawtherapee is compiled with different gtk+, but I am not sure. Could you just try to run it?

Re: rawtherapee, rawstudio, qtpfsgui

I entered /opt/rawtherapee and ran rtstart:

Re: rawtherapee, rawstudio, qtpfsgui

I found the reason!
When gnome-icon-theme is installed rawtherapee crashes.
When I remove gnome-icon-theme with pacman - rawtherapee works!

@Jacek Poplawski

pacman -Rd gnome-icon-theme

solved it!

ThankYou! smile

Re: rawtherapee, rawstudio, qtpfsgui

I think you don't need to entirely remove gnome-icon-theme, but update the icon-theme.cache file after upgrading.

gtk-update-icon-cache -q -t -f /usr/share/icons/gnome
gtk-update-icon-cache -q -t -f /usr/share/icons/hicolor

That was sufficient for me to get rawtherapee running again.
