So im finally planning to install arch on my main computer, the question is:
I want XP left for gaming but i will use arch for everything else. Will GRUB automaticly set up so it is placed in the bootlist or do I have to do it on my own? And if so, how do I?

In my personal experience, grub does not automatically set it up. However, it is very easy to uncomment the samples lines in the grub menu.lst to get windows working. You may want to take a look at the grub entry in the wiki, which has instructions for dual-booting:
