Hi,
I feel really stupid that I can't figure this out, but something I did caused Firefox to default to Gnash for flash content. So how do I find the location of the flashplugin so I can point firefox to it in preferences.
Please note that Opera is still using Adobe Flash Player 10 and it is working fine.
Also Pacman -Q flashplugin gives me flashplugin 10.0.22.87-1
If it's not too much trouble can somebody tell me not just where the file should be located, but also the methods used to find it. I have tried whereis and find to no avail.
Thanks

Arch Linux + sway
Debian Testing + GNOME/sway
NetBSD 64-bit + Xfce

If you have more than one plugin for a specific content firefox picks the latest one ( the library with the mtime more recent ).
I switch between adobe flash and libswfdec by "touching" the library i want to use under /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

Thank you both, now I know why I couldn't find it (because I wasn't looking for libflashplayer.so), and how to make firefox recognize it.

you can also disable the plugins you don't want to give priority to in firefox's tools -> Addons -> Plugins
