ATI open source drivers.

I updated the closed source drives only to discover the module could not load (`cannot allocate memory' I think) so I decided to pass to the open source driver.

It seems working fine, but my questions are:
the packages xf86-video-ati libgl ati-dri contains the analogous of lib32-catalyst-utils?
I have a LCD monitor, can I set that lower resolutions zoom instead of stretch, I do not mind much the black bars, but I dislike the image distortion.

thanks

Re: ATI open source drivers.

can't you use the osd controls of your monitor to resize the image?
