packages in testing for a long time?

Now that the new kernel and Xorg packages have been promoted out of testing, it's a lot easier to see what else is in there. I looked and saw that there are a few things that have been there for a surprisingly long time:

- 4 "telepathy"-related packages since November
- libfetch (for a pacman experiment?) since January
- autofs since January
- kdevelop and kdevplatform since February

Everything else is no older than a month. What's up with these oddball older things?

Re: packages in testing for a long time?

No-one really wants to maintain the telepathy packages so I guess they will be removed...
libfetch will replace libdownload in the next pacman release.

The others I have no idea about...

Re: packages in testing for a long time?

1st sorry for reviving this thread, but want to comment something about KDevelop.

Apparently kdevelop and kdevplatform have compiling issues with boost library under x86_64 architecture.

The error given when compiling these packages can be found here
http://marc.info/?l=boost&m=123972460823115&w=2

I also tryed to compile head branch yesterday, but has a missing file.
