Hello everyone,
the other day my broadband dongle arrived (an Icon 225, ISP Telenor in Sweden), the thing with this one and others like it is that the Windows software is provided on the dongle and this function needs to be blocked on Linux so as to be able to use it as a modem. This is done either with the program Zerocd or Ozerocdoff.

The Ubuntu kernel is apparantly being patched so this can be done outside of userspace.
Being fairly new to Archlinux I really don't know how to submit a feature request like this, should I try posting it through the bug reporting system or is this something better proposed in the forums? You know, new kid on the block not quite knowing the ropes just yet, but steadily getting there.
