Hi
I ran into an issue today, suddenly urxvt has all messed up boarders.. Screenshot: .
I have no idea how this happened... I start my urxvt without any options and have this in Xdefaults:
urxvt*geometry: 110x32
urxvt*externalBorder: 0
urxvt*internalBorder: 0
urxvt.background: rgb:0000/0000/0000
urxvt*foreground: #AcAcAc
urxvt*fading: 15
urxvt*tintColor: #cccccc
urxvt*shading: 30
urxvt*inheritPixmap: False
urxvt*scrollBar: False
urxvt*saveLines: 10000
urxvt*cursorBlink: true
urxvt*font: xft:DejaVu Sans Mono:pixelsize=10:antialias=true:hinting=true
urxvt*depth: 32
urxvt*urgentOnBell: true
Does anyone have any idea?

What is your WM?
Could be an imlib problem (or whatever lib is in charge of drawing your title bar)

I'm having problems with the borders of terminal (from xfce) and gnome-system-monitor for quite some time. I can't put a finger to it, these windows get no decoration, I mean it's there cause it can be clicked on if you know where the buttons should be.

But if they tell you that I've lost my mind, maybe it's not gone just a little hard to find...

Running a composite manager by any chance? I used to get that same problem with xfce4-terminal (I figure it was my crappy configured Xorg)

I am running openbox, no compositing. And urxvt is the only app affected.. The problem does not occur in gnome though.

Prolly useless comment, but did you try several different deco themes?

No composite manager running.
What do you mean by A compositor anyway ? Is there any other compositor besides xcompmgr ?

Same here. But it's a little bit strange. When I use startx the problem occurs but when I start my session from gdm it doesn't.
I have problems with xfce terminal but not with xterm. Really strange.
By the way I'm using openbox too. No composite manager.

Is an Intel graphics chipset the common link here? Just wondering because I found the same behaviour on my AAO when I last tried openbox about a week ago.

I am indeed using an Intel graphics set, lspci says "Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller". I also noticed that it doesn't always occur, I think the issue started when I made a separate user for my girlfriend, she uses gnome and it mostly happens after she's been logged in, both when she's no longer logged in and when I used the "switch user" thing.

I also have Intel VGA:
arael(~)lspci | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0c)
