Hello
I've recently updated my server running arch linux, but when I was restarting proftpd after the upgrade it wont start.
It gives me the following error message:
- Fatal: LoadModule: error loading module 'mod_sql_mysql.c': Permission denied on line 7 of '/etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf'
Any ideas how to solve this, I don't know which package broke proftpd since I have been lazy with the upgrades lately and there were a lot of new upgrade when I was running pacman -Syu
Thanks

Bump, no ideas?

Do you use mysql for authentication?
If you don't, you should comment out the line in proftpd.conf that tries to load the mysql subsystem. Maybe it helps. I didn't use proftpd in a long time, so I don't know exactly what could be the catch. This is just one lucky guess.

I need to use mysql, so I can't remove the mysql call, but thanks anyway.

Still haven't found a solution, no one who have encountered the same issue when upgrading pretty recently?
