My installation of mtpaint recently stopped working, though had worked flawlessly for nearly a year. Starting it from the command line gives this error message:
mtpaint: error while loading shared libraries: libopenjpeg.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I tried removing and reinstalling mtpaint, but get the same error message.
Would someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance!

Check to see if you have 'libjpeg' installed. Perhaps it was inadvertently removed...
