touchpad mouse

My laptop mouse isn't working, I think it is because I picked the wrong one during configuration, how do I change that, and how do I look to see which one to pick?

Re: touchpad mouse

What do you mean, "picked the wrong one during configuration"? are you using xorg input hotplugging? if so, it should be able to pick up your mouse without you doing anything as long as  you have the correct drivers installed.  How is it configured in your xorg.conf?

Re: touchpad mouse

Is xf86-input-synaptics installed? Hotplugging won't pick up your touchpad without that driver, at least in my experience.
