audacity jack and pulse

Hello. I'm trying to understand how to use audacity and pulse together. After what I have read Audacity doesn't work with Pulse. I think that I can send sound to Audacity thru jack but I can't figure out how to do it. I also have an USB sound card that I would like to use for both input and output. Is it anyone that do know any understandable HOWTO for jack. Can't find any. I do know that if I suspend Pulse I can use Audacity but I really would like to know how to use jack.

Get

qjackctl

from AUR. Make sure that you have jackd installed (you probably have).
After running qjackctl, look for a "Connect" button on app. Small window will open, having 2 lists on it. On the left, readable clients (eg. audacity) and on the right side some program for input... Then, you can simply connect (drag & drop between them) desired apps in order to transfer sound from one to another etc... Hope this helped a bit
