Battery Charging Problem

I'm having a very strange issue with my battery meter. It will report that the battery is constantly discharging even if the laptop is plugged in. I know it's not a hardware issue because I have another partition on my laptop with Windows 7 which reports the battery just fine.

I use Gnome as my desktop environment and gnome power manager if that's of any importance. The power manager was working perfectly up to a few days ago.

Anyone know why this might be happening?

Err, nm. It turns out it is a hardware issue >_<
