Porting pacman/yaourt
Would it be possible to install Pacman or Yaourt on another distro (namely Slackware) and get it to work, or is that for some reason totally out of the question?

Yes, but you would need to deal with making packages fro that distro (porting their build scripts to PKGBUILDs...)
