Monitoring Internet Usage Per Computer

So my family is currently running into our ISP's cap for the second month in a row, and there are still like 10 days left in the month. >.<

There are several computer on the network, both windows and linux (mine being the linux computers). I am wondering if there is a way to monitor how much download and upload usage each computer is using so I can isolate the problem, and figure out what needs to be done.

I am hoping I can find a program that I can run on my computer which is on like 24/7, but if I will need to get a different program for the windows computer that will be fine.

I saw this mentioned in linux jornal: WebHTB. I didn't really read the article, but it lets you manage network bandwidth through a browser interface. I don't know if it's what you want, but have a look: http://webhtb.sourceforge.net/

Check out MRTG: http://oss.oetiker.ch/mrtg/

and RRDtool: http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/

both are pretty standard tools with loads of documentation out there.....

Oh man, limited bandwidth must suck....

The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.
