file-transfer queue?

i do alot of file-transfers to flash-drives and external drives, and i find that dragging folder, folder, folder over with thunar just creates alot of windows in my way and slows down transfer overall. i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a "transfer-queue" type app (like filezilla or the like) which would add additional folders to a queue?

i've tried a few dual-pane filemanagers (atol, emelfm2) and they don't have anything like that either. any ideas?

You could use a script that pgreps for cp/mv processes and waits until they finish.
