Cant change my keymap

I have a Norwegian keyboard, but seomhow I have the US keymap. Here is my rc.conf

Have you looked into xorg input hotplugging?  There's a specific section on modifying the hal configuration that might be what you're looking for.

plus the settings in your DE (gnome/kde/etc...) override the hal hotplugging settings - in kde, set the kb type to evdev managed and choose your desired keymap
