ACPI power-script.

saw this: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=58247 thread and got inspired to make my own.
So I made a /etc/acpi/events/battery file, and a /etc/acpi/actions/power.sh file,
Added the commands I wanted it to do, rebooted. And it didn't work.

Then I read this on archWiki:
Updates since 2.6.24
proc is being deprecated, so you will find the information again in sysfs, e.g for battery:
/sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/

That might have something to do with it? Running the 2.6.29 kernel atm.

Any ideas how to get this script working?

Re: ACPI power-script.

ive got the same problem, but i had a 99-savings script under /etc/pm/power.d and /etc/pm/sleep.d which stopped working...

its probably related to acpi events being stolen by gnome but im not sure.... some of my hotkeys got enabled again after i placed acpid at the back of the line under MODULES in /etc/rc.conf
