Hi,
I upgraded using
pacman -Syuf
command. Many packages were upgraded. I am running arch in a VirtualBox on Ubuntu 8.10.
Virtualbox version is 2.1.4 I again installed the Vbox Guest Additions, but this didn't help.
Xorg.0.log has following lines with EE
(EE) module ABI major version (4) doesn't match the server's version (5)
(EE) Failed to load module "vboxvideo" (module requirement mismatch, 0)
(EE) No drivers available.
How should I fix this. If I don't use vboxvideo drivers, I get very poor resolution.
regards,
Hardik

I upgraded using

I don't think this is a good idea. Dependency checks (among others) are there for a reason. I assume you force-upgraded virtualbox and violated its dependency for kernel < 2.6.29?

virutalbox is not installed on arch it is on ubuntu it is the same and I also tried upgrading it to the lated available.
Now the question is how to go back. Or fix the stuff.
