Why glibc-2.3.3-2t3 is in TESTING repo, when all other ntpl compiled stuff (binutils and so on) are in NTPL ?
I think that they should be together.

I'm interested to hear the reason for this also. It seems a bit odd... I assume one of the changes made to glibc during compile time makes the devs nervous.

My guess is because it is intended to end up in current. This is because it now provides both NPTL and linuxthreads libraries, and so will work with 2.4 kernels as well as 2.6.

Yeah, don't quote me on this, but I think that the nptl repo is now no longer needed.
