Does yaourt cache packages/downloads from AUR? Where?

Does yaourt have a separate location for caching packages/downloads from AUR? Or does it not cache AUR downloads at all? I've looked in /var/cache/pacman/pkg and do not see anything there that reflect programs I've installed from AUR. And when I run yaourt -Scc to clean up downloads, it seems to only clean /var/cache/pacman/pkg. Or do yaourt downloads all go into /tmp/yaourt-tmp-username and then get deleted once the install is done? Thanks.

This part is true. It doesn't get deleted right away, but /tmp does get cleared on reboot (maybe other times too, but reboot is the main reason I see).

Okay, thanks. So I'm not accumulating megabytes and megabytes of downloaded files from AUR that are no longer needed?
