gnome-settings-daemon and freeNX problem

Gnome-settings-daemon refuses to start in remote NX session. When I login locally everything is ok.
Experimentally I've found that if keyboard plugin of gnome-settings-daemon is deactivated through gconf everything works fine. Except keyboard of course (: (all keyboard settings are lost ): ).
The problem appeared after the reboot of the computer, which runs x86_64 Arch, with uptime about a month. Can't figure it myself, please help!

any solution? gnome+Xfce sessions are broken for me too. See also my post on the FreeNX mailing list.

I've just disabled keyboard plugin and added simple script to autostart which configures keyboard using setxkbmap. Not that beautiful solution, but works.
