Problem burning to cd [SOLVED]

I'm running the following script to burn a larcherific (TM) iso to a cd:

cdrecord -dao larchroot/.larch/mylivecd.iso

However, every time I run the script, I get the following error:

cdrecord: error while loading shared libraries: libcap.so.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

The libcap 2.16-3 package is installed on my system.  Any thoughts on what the problem is?

Any help is much appreciated.

Forget it, I'm a retard and didn't install cdrkit first...
