a decent pim selection?

How do you lot organize your life, computechnologically speaking?

I want to be able to have calendar, email and addressbook data easily exchanged between desktop and laptop via ssh. And as a long time user of kontact I've become used to relying on my rss data as well.

Kontact has proved to be a real pain with config and data files spread out over all sorts of directories and the change from kde3 to kde4 didn't help to make things easier. Akonadi may in the future make things easier, but boy, I can't wait and want to know what you lot use.
