KMYFireWall

I upgraded Kmyfirewall to the latest version. Now when I start it, it starts the GUI and drops out with command not found error. Checked the shortcut in menu. Is OK. Checked rc.conf for iptables and kmyfirewall in daemons. They are there. So now I'm puzzled.....
What the heck is going wrong?

Re: KMYFireWall

I'm not running KDE3.3 or the latest xorg because I run Linux in a Virtual PC session on a XP laptop. I tried once but the whole virtual machine went nuts. So I'm sticking to 3.2. Does not matter, Arch Linux still outperforms the machines of the other consultants who run XP only. Think of it, in a virtual machine and still faster...
But ok, that does noet solve my problem. I could  remove kmyfirewall and install guarddog but that is not the way I work. I just want to know what is going wrong.
The error command not found, is this connected to xorg??? smile

Re: KMYFireWall

well kmyfirewall was build with the latest apps
perhaps you need only to rebuild it
use as root abs
use the file in kmyfirewall directory and run makepkg where you want
perhaps it helps
