The only way I can get the cursor to stop that is if I load the vesa driver instead of the radeonhd.
It just might be related to this previous post http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=70814 I dont know what is wrong with it.

It also might be the qt setings for specifically the platique and cleanlooks, as those are the ones that cause the cursor to cause graphic errors. but at least i can use radeonhd without those two themes.
