Gnome-sound-properties missing and can't figure out how to set device

Hey Guys,

I have an older install of Arch linux on a USB drive where I could use gnome-sound-properties to select my HDMI device for HDMI audio to my TV and it worked fine.

I now have a newer installation running on my main drive and it appears gnome-sound-properties is missing. I only have Volume Control where I can't select which device to use by default.

How can I use configuration files to choose my default device?? Please help! I want to use Card 0, Device 3 but right now I'm pretty sure it's going with 0,0.

Thanks!!

Apparently, it does not exist in GNOME 2.26 and that's just stupid !
Some short answer is given there http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=69316
