Absup - Abs management

I was getting a bit bored of having to go through each dir in abs to find packages so this script creates a location which it maintains symlinks to all the packages in abs.

Get it from:

http://github.com/Zariel/absup/tree

Run it as root, make sure you edit the outdir variable at the top of the file! Else it will default to /var/abs/local

Re: Absup - Abs management

Have you seen the 'abs' tool? It gets you all the PKGBUILDs, and is oficially supported.

Re: Absup - Abs management

So this basically creates an ABS megadir with all of the package directories in it (as symlinks)?

Btw, if you just want to get a PKGBUILD and local sources, you can use pbget. It can pull them from either the CVS/SVN server or from the remote ABS tree (so you don't need to install and keep updating abs). It has AUR support too.
