[Request] NI LabVIEW

Did anyone manage to install LabVIEW?
There is a install script which works as expected, but the uninstall script doesn't work for non-rpm systems and so you have to delete everything by hand.
It would be great to have a PKGBUILD for it .

Did you install LabView on your system ? if yes How did you do it ?
i have treid to install the rpm from heisse.de with no luck , but i have a arch64 maybe it has to do with that .!!!

The README file states that the program is i686 (x86) only.

How would an AUR package for proprietary software which (AFAICT) is only available on distributor's CDs work, I'd be interested to know.

I have previously used Labview for a project and will be required to use it in a month or so, I believe. I have the CDs sitting around waiting for equipment, but I was planning to use it in a vm or chroot, which would make uninstalling a non-issue (delete the chroot, simple).

this is true with x86, but you could install x86 on a x86_64 if you have the requeired libs, or not .
the version 5.4 is free for commercial use ! . i found instruction to install the rpm on ubunto , my linux knowlege is not good enough to try it on arch.
