I know it's no way close, but what do you think? An older Xdefaults with twilight2 and dante vim color schemes.

Also realized, this color setup sure doesn't go well with pcf fonts.

And one of my older screens with the colors.

Oh yeah, sure. It's Openbox using the GTK theme Ma.Fa.GTK by iamfuss and the Openbox theme black_grass by Marika. The text editor is Scribes and the terminal rxvt-unicode. Conky is using the font Avant Garde (*cough*) and this .conkyrc.

Oh gosh, I would hate to read some of your code. I write a lot of Perl as well, and it is one of the harder languages to read. But I noticed that you weren't indenting. That drives me nuts

btw, does anyone know how to get non-ascii characters to show up in terminals in freebsd? like those lines you see in some peoples PS1's, maybe daisuke knows, i believe you use freebsd too.
it may not have anything to do with freebsd, thats why i ask here.

Those non-ASCII characters ASCII still, just extended.
