I love the color theme they use there. anyone got some Xdefaults (and maybe vim theme) that looks similar to that? I need a good low contrast thing.
there is a twilight vim theme i am aware of. may be i can work on the Xdefaults colors as well.

Mind sharing your gtk and pekwm themes?

I know it's no way close, but what do you think? An older Xdefaults with twilight2 and dante vim color schemes.
/edit
Also realized, this color setup sure doesn't go well with pcf fonts.
And one of my older screens with the colors.

Pretty standard, Shiki-Brave and Gnome, with imho, the best font for GTK there is: HandelGotD
Very nice Gnome setup and thanks for the font suggestion. It really does look good. And would you mind sharing your wallpaper?

Turquoise Grass should be the gtk and pekwm theme. Follow the link!

Can you give us some more informations (WM, theme, etc.)?
Oh yeah, sure. It's Openbox using the GTK theme Ma.Fa.GTK by iamfuss and the Openbox theme black_grass by Marika. The text editor is Scribes and the terminal rxvt-unicode. Conky is using the font Avant Garde (*cough*) and this .conkyrc.
What icon theme you used here?
Umm... I don't think I see any icons there, but I use the ALLBLACK icon set by Mandarancio.

Oh gosh, I would hate to read some of your code. I write a lot of Perl as well, and it is one of the harder languages to read. But I noticed that you weren't indenting. That drives me nuts

Do you even know why it is written the way it is? Go back a page and see Wra!th's link of a page in pastie. Don't just read one post and think you know it all, you don't.

Seeing as this is a screenshot thread, I didn't realize I needed context. Silly me.

Seeing how this is a screenshot thread, why do you comment on someone's indenting (or lack of for that matter) ?

btw, its a tile.
@daisuke, thanks man.
@wraith, how might i use those in my ps1? btw this is what i meant by ps1's
PS1="┌─(\$newPWD)────────────(\$(date \"+%H:%M\"))───┐\n└─(\u@\h \$)─> "
and
PS1="\033[1;37m\]┌─[\[\e[36;1m\]\u@\[\e[32;1m\]\H\[\033[1;37m\]] \n\[\033[1;37m\]└─[\[\033[0;36m\]\w\[\033[1;37m\]]> \[\e[0m\]"
im not sure if on arch you can just put that in or not, as i have not try it on arch, only on freebsd
