conky disappear when wallpaper loaded

I add three conky items in the Startup Applications Session, and I notice taht all of them appear when the system boots up, but just disappear after the wallpaper is loaded.

Before I add them to the session, I ever manually test them and all work normally, why does this problem happen? and how to fix it? thanks.

This happens on my desktop, and for me, instead of just conky &, typing in (sleep 3 && conky) & solved it.

I set it to sleep for 10 seconds, but the problem persists, any further comment? thanks a lot.

Hmmm, it may be a problem with your .conkyrc configs. You might fiddle with own_window_type (normal, desktop, or override are your choices) or own_window_hints (iirc I have sticky, below, undecorated, skip_taskbar, skip_pager in my config; I'm not running linux atm).

The problem is solved just by changing own_window_type from override to normal, thanks for your help.
