[ESSENTIALLY: how come mutt 1.5.19 isn't available through pacman?]
Hi.... before I reinstalled with the fabulous 02.09 ARCH cd, for a time I went from the standard mutt 1.5.18 (slang) to the 1.5.19 nurses version in AUR. Running 1.5.19 ncurses (not slang) was fine, and I seem to recall it curing some little issue.
After a think (during my fresh reinstall) I just went with the 1.5.18 version again figuring slang was used for another package I run so, whatever. And that the standard version of 1.5.19 would be out eventually.
Anyone able to comment on:
1) The benefits or nice-ness of the ncurses dependency over the slang one... ?
AND
2) VERY interested to know when 1.5.19 (release in Jan.09) wil hit the repos here. Or, if there's a reason for a delay.
I subscribe to the dev list though either it's not been mentioned or I missed whatever may have been said there.
Thanks!!
mutt is SO unbelievable. today I learned about moving emails and also using ~t and ~f in the tag/set routine so that I could move emails powerfully from the 'To: field, for starters....
It is really really really amazing to use command line and ncurses apps etc. I find.
