Hey guys,
i've got a little problem after installing the new nvidia driver ( 180.51 ) today.
when i want to start a game oder 3d application via wine i got an API mismatch:
Error: API mismatch: the NVIDIA kernel module has version 180.51,
but this NVIDIA driver component has version 180.44. Please make
sure that the kernel module and all NVIDIA driver components
have the same version.
i tried to reload the module ( rmmod; modprobe ) but it still doesn't work.
pacman -Q | grep nvidia ->
lib32-nvidia-utils 180.44-1
nvidia 180.51-1
nvidia-utils 180.51-1
the problem is the lib32-nvidia-utils package..
how can i fix this ? or do i have to wait ?

mark out of date lib32-nvidia-utils and you can wait or compile yourself that version using abs.
damn. forgot that aur can search only i686 community packages.
send the maintainter an email.

hm, i'm from germany and it seems my pacman (& yaourt) just uses the german AUR (if there is any oO).
I can't find any lib32 packages at http://www.archlinux.de/?page=Packages
what do i have to do ?
i'm using archlinux not as long as is should ^^

that because there are in community. but i've already told you that aur(which is an interface to community) search by default only i686 packages and lib32 are x86_64.
just use abs to compile the latest version. the maintainer will update the package tonight
