Mount all available partitions in write mode using HAL

I read the wiki and changed the policykit.conf now i can mount the partitions in my hard drive as a user, but i am unable to make or delete folders in the partitions, also i have to click the partition in  dolphin for it to mount
how can io make the partitions auto mount and in RW format for the user?

Re: Mount all available partitions in write mode using HAL

You could try mounting the partions by adding the desired entry on your fstab. There you can enable read and write on each partition you want to automount. smile If the partitions are using ntfs then the HAL article on our wiki might be of help and also the NTFS Write Support article. smile

Re: Mount all available partitions in write mode using HAL

I'm not sure, I do use kde 4.2.2 as well and dolphin shows my other partitions but you need to mount them first...They're not being automounted, but when you click the partition it immediately mounts them...:)
