Hulu and boxee

It's nice to see the boxee-source package working in AUR again. Does anyone have hulu working in the latest boxee? On my machine, I can browse Hulu, but nothing happens when I try to select a video to play.

Hulu is actively trying to block boxee from using their feeds. It is a well publicized and on-going war. Try a quick google search, or check out boxee's homepage for info.

I vaguely remember there being an app that displayed the status of Hulu working on boxee. I have no idea where to actually find it though.

I was aware of that - as of a week ago or so, boxee was ahead, and from what I can gather, it works in f%^& Ubuntu. Oh well.

no problems here in Ubuntu 8.04
Are you using the "Hulu" app or the "Hulu Feeds" app?

The problem is that boxee hasn't released a source version of their flash player (and don't plan on it either), and the version they've provided is compiled against ubuntu's libraries which don't quite jive with ours... There are a few of us trying to get it working in our free time, but for now the small number of flash-based feeds including Hulu will not work

PS: posting in the boxee-source thread will be noticed much more quickly
