Can not mount FreeAgent Drive

I can not seem to find out how to get my FreeAgent XTreme drive to mount. I have it connected through a Dynex 2-Port e-SATA II ExpressCard Adapter. It mounts just fine in Windows, but in Linux I get the error

Unable to mount the volume 'FreeAgent Drive'
Cannot get volume.fstype.alternative

Any thoughts on how to fix this?
