Contributing to wiki

How do you contribute to the wiki?
Is it as easy as signing up and editing?
How are errors corrected?

The reason I ask is because I spent a lot of today trying to get bitlbee to work with my gmail accounts. Eventually I got it to work with one line:
"account set <id>/server talk.google.com".
I'd like to add this to the wiki.

Stephen Hawking proof-reads it. Other users tend to catch the errors that he misses.

You can commit your changes or make suggestions on the related 'talk' pages. Changes will be visible to others (a diff, if you will) and can be rolled back.
