Re: KDE panel on top - is it possible?

Hi.

kde4 or kde3?

If it is kde3 simply drag it

If it is kde4 look at the small icon at the right of the panel.

Move the mouse over it and click button on it

now the panel expands and you see an option that says Screen Edge (and corssed arrows).

Click and drag over the arrows to place the panel where you want

I think he means "overlapping" instead of "on top". In KDE4, click the icon on the right side of the panel, choose More Settings, Auto Hide / Window can cover.

Re: KDE panel on top - is it possible?

Thanks for quick answers, but that's not exactly what i'm trying to achieve wink

I don't want panel to auto hide, neither to be overlapped (yeah, that's the word I'd forgotten wink).

Pictures should tell more than words.

- 'always visible' option, which I'm using right now.

- 'auto hide' - this is what I'd like, but without auto hiding! I want panel to overlap windows, like on this screenshot, but stay there all the time.

- 'windows can cover' makes no sense for me tongue

I hope I made it clear this time, sorry for the first post.
