[SOLVED] "Performance" governor is missing

Well, the subject says it all...

I tried adding performance, cpufreq_performance and even cpufreq-performance to the MODULES's array in /etc/rc.conf, but I always get the same error message:

FATAL: Module performance not found.

Does anybody know what to do? I'd like to be able to fully control my cpu's frequency.. And I'm missing that governor.
(I installed the cpufrequtils and laptop-mode-tools packages. Also, I added the other acpi-cpufreq and some other governors to the MODULES's array and they all worked).

Thanks in advance

cpufreq_performance isn't in the kernel as module, it is directly compiled into the kernel. So it's already loaded, as soon as your kernel is loaded wink

Re: [SOLVED] "Performance" governor is missing

So, I can still cpufreq-set -g performance to set the governor, right? :)

Many thanks, Army

EDIT: It turns out Army was right! :)
