Hi I have an internal sd card reader attached to the usb bus and I can't access it. Anything I need to do? When I put in a sd card with photos on it the green light comes on and I can check my /var/log/messages.log and I can see that it's sdf that's being accessed.

I've made a folder in /media named usb
/media/usb
and my fstab I've added the card reader
#
# /etc/fstab: static file system information
#
# <file system> <dir> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
none /dev/pts devpts defaults 0 0
none /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
#/dev/cdrom /media/cd auto ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0
#/dev/dvd /media/dvd auto ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0
#/dev/fd0 /media/fl auto user,noauto 0 0
# For USB - Flash Drive
/dev/sdf /media/usb vfat ro,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/mapper/isw_beggihedjf_ARRAY1 /boot ext2 defaults, 0 1
/dev/mapper/isw_beggihedjf_ARRAY2 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/mapper/isw_beggihedjf_ARRAY3 / ext4 defaults,noatime 0 1
/dev/mapper/isw_beggihedjf_ARRAY4 /home ext4 defaults,noatime 0 1
but when I try and mount I get
$ mount /media/usb
mount: /dev/sdf: can't read superblock
Any ideas?

dmesg says "unable to read partition table", so the card is being detected, but it's not being read correctly. Same thing happens with mine - I use an external card reader instead, so fixing it is not on my to-do list.

The card reader's documentation says that kernels 2.4 + will automatically recognize the reader, so I'm not sure what to do. Any recommendations for a card reader that's been proven to be compatible?
