[SOLVED] Thunar automount error

Edit: sorry, had not googled before, several answers, I'll post if one works.

Hi Arch helpers,

I have installed thunar and thunar volume management.
When plugging an usb key, I get a message that it's impossible to mount it, because:

"org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-removable no <-- (action, result)."

Found no  "org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount" in wiki or the forums, so I'm asking if anyone knows why. Should I add something to fstab?

Thanks.

(NB: I'm in the storage group)

Re: [SOLVED] Thunar automount error

look at the HAL Wiki, under Trobleshooting.
I am pretty sure there is a solution, ran into this too once.

me too. Look at the PolicyKit method
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HAL#Mounting_fails

...that did it for me.
