Browser Crashes with 64 Bit Java

I have attempted the use of both the jre/jdk pair and the openjdk6 package in order to get Java support on Arch64. In both cases, whenever I visit a site with java, my browser (whatever I am using, icluding Firefox, Conkeror, and Midori) crashes. I don't even necessarily need java support anymore, but the fact that anything with java crashes my browser is just driving me insane. I tried installing a java blocker add on for firefox, but I still crash even with java turned off.

Re: Browser Crashes with 64 Bit Java

I have a similar issue, at least with Runescape (uses Java). It works great for 30-60 seconds, then it just crashes. It happens with JRE from community and also in a 32 bit chroot. Maybe the problems are related? I'd like a solution. I have workarounds (VirtualBox lol. Or boot into Windows 7), but a solution would be nice.
