Hi, I have a Dell D610 Laptop with intel wireless pro 2200 card, I have installed the "ipw2200" driver and it can connect to my access point, however the connection is pretty unstable, it is on, then off, on again and so on... Other laptops, even handhelds do not have problems connecting to this AP and it is really stable. When I connect with this dell using "wifi-radar" it shows the signal is 100% (or near that), the signal is pretty unstable though. I suppose I should manage to get working some keep-alive packet sending or so... Anyone experiencing the same? It really makes me angry. The wired connection is obviously completely stable. The AP is not so far, about two meters - six and a half feet.

Same problem here. I have a broadcom wireless device on an HP laptop. Network set up with wap_supplicant and dhcpcd .
