Mount and Latex
First off : Is there a simple latex pack, to instal with pacman ??
Sec. every time i try to mount my cdrom i get no medium found and yes there i a medium pressent i my cd player. ok it's a dvd with iso 9660 or something like that.

well if the types are incorrect you will get "no media found" - i.e. if you put in a VCD and try to mount it as iso9960 (whatever it is) it will fail... verify the format on the dvd and make sure to mount the correct type

Re LaTeX - "pacman -Sy emacs tetex" then download auctex (do a google) and install it (very easy - just read the installation instructions). Edit your ~.emacs and away you go.

Tetex is in "extra". Take a look at your pacman.conf.

There's also Kile, a kde frontend for latex. It's also in extra.
