How to set to 1440x900 resolution

I'm going to install the Archiso live CD. I see that it has a 1440x1050 res but not a 1440x900 res. I went to xorg.conf but it doesn't list any modes. How do I set it to 1440x900?
I have a Nvidia FX 5200 video

Re: How to set to 1440x900 resolution

you could try adding this to your xorg.conf under the screen section

SubSection "Display"
        Depth 24
        Modes "1440x900"
EndSubSection

I've installed the regular Arch and didn't add any modes, just configured my xorg w/ nvidia-xconfig IIRC.

Re: How to set to 1440x900 resolution

Thanks, If I can ever get Arch installed I'll make those changes.

Seems like the partition editor , GParted doesn't do what I set it to. I've tried many times and every time I get errors. I think it's trying to set up as sda1 when it should be hda1, the board handles ata and sata drives. Arch is the only installed that has trouble with it too bad. Maybe in a future version of Arch you'll figure it out. Maybe the live CD version isn't ready for prime time.

For now I'll go back to Debian.

If memory serves. the regular iso has some partitioning tool, fdisk probably. Backup everything and give it a go.
