making arch live cd - kernel panic

i built an arch live cd with the instructions here

all my config files are the defaults as in the wiki except packages list (i added initscripts)

base
bash
coreutils
cpio
dhcpcd
dnsutils
file
fuse
initscripts
kernel26
vi

when i run the cd in virtual box it gets kernel panic after loading the kernel

As wiki page states its not up to date, maybe try Larch

it is very recent one (about 1 mo old)
