freemind-unstable 9.0 RC4 build fails

I previously had 9.0 RC1 installed sucessfully but when I removed RC1 and tried to build RC4 I got the following.  Any tips/advice?

Unable to locate tools.jar. Expected to find it in /opt/java/lib/tools.jar
Buildfile: build.xml

xmlbind.checkStatusOfGeneration:

gen:

build:
     [echo] FreeMind Version = 0.9.0_RC_4.
    [mkdir] Created dir: /tmp/yaourt-tmp-root/aur-freemind-unstable/freemind-unstable/src/bin/classes
[javac] Compiling 355 source files to /tmp/yaourt-tmp-root/aur-freemind-unstable/freemind-unstable/src/bin/classes

BUILD FAILED

jdk is installed? What does "echo $JAVA_HOME "say?
