Arch USB key install problems, details inside.

I have installed arch to an 8gb usb key and am able to boot arch with the noscsi option on qemu.
but if I try and boot on real hardware, even with rootdelay=>9000 it gives me an error about not knowing the filesystem type, so I did rootfstype=ext2, and then it gave me an error about If the device <uuid> gets created while you are here try adding 'rootdelay=8' or higher to the kernel command-line. just wondering if any of you have run into this or know a solution.

p.s. I have tried it on two different physical computers and each of them does it. only qemu boots it.(but it must have the noscsi kernel line)

Re: Arch USB key install problems, details inside.

Solved, the ftp install doesn't prompt for usb support. mkinitcpio with usb solves this issue.
