Wireless button blinking, normal?

I've this minor issue which I find distracting sometimes while I'm typing then again I'll probably manage if there is no solution.

I have a Compaq CQ70-120NS, the wireless button is next to the power button and have to main colors which is "blue" when its on and "orange" when its off. While I was setting the wireless it caused me quite a confusion since I didn't know when was the wireless on or off it just was orange all the time. That aside, is there a way to get the button back to its normal behavior?

On my Acer 7720, when it's flashing it means that there is network traffic. Maybe it's the same on your model?
