Thinkpad Ultrabay second HDD - is it ok with Arch?

Hi,

I'm about to get Ultrabay SATA adapter equpped with HDD, instead of DVD-RW drive.

Does it work well with Arch? Is it just plug&play "you've got new HDD", or should I expect a lot of messing out to make it usable?

On a T23 here.
I can't say anything about the sata adapter, but if the cd/dvd drive appears correctly, then I assume the bios sends it as a block device, and the hdd should appear with minimal/no effort. I know my ultrabay battery worked the second I popped it in (BAT1 was registered, and it started charging smile). So, hopefully the same will be true for the adapter.

I have an Ultrabay SATA adapter for my T61p and it works very well.  I put in my new hard drive and it recognized it with no problems.
